The City of St. Louis was a part of the 2018-2019 cohort of the Equitable Economic Development (EED) Fellowship. The City of St. Louis used the EED Fellowship to inform a City-wide Economic Development Strategy that is currently in development of the findings of a St. Louis Equity Indicator Baseline Report; to further propose the racial equity metrics that should be incorporated into the overall strategy; and, further, to recommend specific actions that should be undertaken that will result in an improvement of the chosen metrics as the strategies are implemented. Jess Zimbabwe was the lead staffer on the February 2019 panel visit to advise the City.
